Enviro-Stewards retained by MOE to Develop and Deliver 7 Toxics Reduction Technical Training Workshops

For ten years, Enviro-Stewards has been providing practical and economically viable toxics reduction assessments for industry (see Trimac Case Study video).

Therefore, the Ontario Ministry of the Environment (MOE) has retained Enviro-Stewards to develop and deliver toxics reduction technical training workshops in Toronto (2), Guelph (2), Ottawa, Sarnia and Sudbury during June 2010. These workshops will assist affected facilities to comply with the requirements of the Toxics Reduction Act, 2009 and Regulation 455/09.

Enviro-Stewards was recently featured in a case study prepared by Capacity Waterloo Region for it’s Venture for Change conference.

Enviro-Stewards completes Lean to Green Demonstration Assessment and Workhop for CME and NRC IRAP (Winnipeg, MB March 30, 2010)

During March 2010, Enviro-Stewards completed a lean and green opportunity assessment at Carlson Engineered Composites (see case study).  The assessment identified lean production and cleaner production opportunities of $310,000 and $370,000 per year, respectively.

Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) and the National Research Council`s Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) subsequently offered a lean to green training workshop for other industries in Winnipeg on March 30, 2010.
